Patching & Repair

Utility lines below an existing pavement surface may need to be repaired or installed. After we saw-cut and demo the existing asphalt, and once the utility work is complete, we will patch back the new asphalt into the trench, no mater the size. Understanding that there may be a need for a quick response, our crews are ready to assist whenever you need them. In preparation for the new asphalt, a tack coat is applied to the saw-cut edges. This allows for proper adhesion between the existing asphalt and the new material. The area will then be paved with up to four inches of new asphalt per lift, and compacted using a vibratory roller.

We work closely with municipalities to ensure we meet or exceed soil compaction and density specifications for the subgrade. We will also make certain that we use the proper mix for the specific city, so that you can be confident that there will be no issues during inspection.
